This key fob could not be programmed into my car. I even took it to a professional auto mechanic. I had the key so I could open the door manually if I locked another key in the car. But it won't start the car or open the doors remotely.

Works as intended and even better. Locking/unlocking only works for the driver's door, but it's still better than no key fob at all (LS is the most basic model with no power locks/power windows). The alarm button works too! The key was very quick and easy to program, now it's so nice to have keyless entry.

The item corresponds to the offer. It is necessary to replace the blank key that comes with the key fob with a key cut from the old key fob. Then connect the key fob to the car. I found videos that showed me how to complete the process. Took about 10 minutes, works like a charm and is a lot cheaper than going to the dealer and paying $200-$300.

I like the ease of installation. The sad thing is that after two weeks the key stopped working. I couldn't program my key back into the car. I went out and bought new batteries which worked for a day and then stopped. I asked someone to look at the key at a car dealership and ended up buying another key. I had high hopes that the key would work because it's so cool! At least I have a spare key for my car.

I took it to the dealer and they said NO they can't get it to work and took it to a reputable key/lock shop that has been in business for over 55 years and he said it would cost me over $150 to do it to get it right, and even then it wasn't guaranteed because it wasn't a genuine part from the company that made the car.
