I am not satisfied with this remote control because it does not open my trunk. It might be cheaper to buy, but in general it would make more sense to just pay a little more and get something that works.

Went to Acura Service Center and they cut and programmed it for $80. Behind the Key with Slicing and Programming - Libertyville, Illinois. Cost $210 with taxes. I did everything for half of it :) Thank you very much.

Excellent replacement key fob. Feels great, no more exposed blade from old worn key fob. The program is simple, just make sure you get a spare key from a professional or dealer with a transmitter.

I was skeptical about ordering this key but after receiving it I regret not having ordered two due to the extremely high quality. If you own a 3rd generation Acura TL, you can easily program your car key at home. Google or watch YouTube videos and you can do it yourself and save money!

These two work great and feel great but the locksmith had issues as the machine had to be calibrated twice. It looks like the thickness of the metal on the two keys was different, so one of them wasn't cut exactly as it should have been. Keep this in mind and inform your locksmith about it. This key is now forever going to take a bit more force to get in and out of the mechanism. Otherwise so far so good.

I have a 2008 Acura TL with navigation. Both of my keys worked fine, but years ago the remote electronics began to fail, requiring a battery change every week. I only bought this to replace the button/electronics module with the idea that I could use my original physical key fob so I didn't have to reprogram the dealer.
