Installed in 2 minutes using the Gap ID II tool

This item came with a blank key which was more than I expected. This item was purchased for a 2011 RR Sport although the original car key was an older (larger) model. I was able to program it in 2 minutes using my own GAP ID II tool. It seems to work great to lock, unlock and start the car. Very happy to get a second working key for $35.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not the best

The best price for these keys at the time of purchase

At this price it's unbearable. The user must program them. This can be done in the sdd auto software interface or via the nanocom black box. The buttons are hard to press but otherwise everything is fine, it even has a sliding metal part but no manual button. When using the key case, the buttons are very difficult to control, but the local unlock works.

Pros
  • Ease of use
Cons
  • boring packaging

"95% chance of car being blocked and having to be towed to a Land Rover "

So I took two replacement vehicles to a local shop that specializes in Land Rover repairs. When trying to program the remote, their programming service told them there was a 95% chance that trying to do so would lock the car; The only remedy then would be to have it towed to a Land Rover dealer and get its OEM remote and the dealer would unlock the system. I reported KeylessOption and was asked to return the remotes for a refund. And now I see that I cannot give the product less than one star.

Pros
  • Pretty impressive
Cons
  • Disappearance
