2009 Scion xD works

2009 Scion xD - Worked. Carved a key at a local $2 hardware store and then found remote access programming instructions and spent 5 minutes on it. They're noticeably cheaper than OEM, but $30 for 2 is a great deal.

Pros
  • brings joy
Cons
  • protection

They work great! for interior

Works as intended. Those keys were a good deal. They are synced to the car and work with my 05 tC. I had trouble finding someone to cut them. Ace wants you to buy keys there for $70 each in Arizona. There are videos online for programming them and they have become the master keys to my car. Thank you keylessOption.👍👍

Pros
  • Top marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • No performance

Works great on Anti-Theft

Matches my Scion TC 2005 perfectly. All self programmed, carved for free at the local hardware store. As far as I understood it is very important what symbol you have on the original key next to the base. I have a point on new keys and you can program them yourself. Also, try programming before cutting the keys - in case you received an incorrect spare key.

Pros
  • Everything great!
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Worked perfectly. for anti-theft

Guy from Lowes cut free Using this method to get the chip working on a 2006 Scion TCP Insert master key in ignition 5 times, leave it in on 5th. Open and close the door 6 times. Pull out the master key and insert a new key. Wait a minute. Make sure the theft alert indicator has stopped flashing very slowly. When the light finally stops flashing, start the car.

Pros
  • Stable results when tested
Cons
  • Nothing here

These blanks are perfect!

Too bad we didn't know about these keys 2 years ago when my husband's 2005 Scion tC fell apart. This car was bought used 10 years ago and only came with one key so we had to give the key to MacGyver together as we didn't want to pay dealer prices for a new key. The product is reliable and reliable; The included instructions are great for keyless lock/unlock functions. To find the immobilizer instructions, just google it. I can't put a link in my review where I got my information from.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Some cons

Google how to program key fob and chip

Works great. Home Depot cut them for free as I cut other keys I bought from them. first key I've used on a 2010 Scion TC. I followed the button programming instructions and it was easy. then, when the car wouldn't start, I remembered that I had to program the chip as well. A quick web search was all it took. The chip programming process was very similar to button programming. bright. The second key was used on a 2007 Toyota Yaris. The Yaris didn't have to program the chip.

Pros
  • Rugged finish
Cons
  • Not fancy

Not programmable and falls apart when opened

I bought 2 sets of keys. There is a note on the packaging that only the dealer can program the keys, not themselves. I followed the instructions on YouTube and found that I could program the fobs to start cars. I was able to cut keys at the hardware store for $3 each and it seemed like a great deal. The car started, but the key fob would not lock or open the doors. The red light on the key fob came on when I pushed the buttons, but they did nothing to lock or unlock the car. I decided to change

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Would buy again. fits Anti-Theft

Bought two of these for my 2005 Scion TC. They didn't come with a DIY programming guide that the seller had to send with the keys. I pulled instructions from the internet to program the keys and was only able to program the ignition but the door and panic button didn't work. I called their tech support for help. I was on hold for a while and was about to give up until finally a tech support rep came back online and sent me the correct instructions for key programming. After a bit of trial and…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Useless Functions
