After my wife lost her key (with my spare key) I had to buy another one. The dealer warned me that these "non-OEM" keys are often not programmable. Not correct! That works fine. I cut a third key at the hardware store and programmed that key myself and now I'm safe!

Brought to the dealer today, programmed and cut with no problems. Now I can actually use the remote unlock which didn't work with the original key. A little concerned about the reviews but they worked flawlessly. I ended up with more keys than I needed because I wanted to make sure some of them worked and they all worked. Edit to add: Dodge Grand Caravan 2005 SXT.

So far we are very happy with this product. We bought them from a local locksmith and then programmed them (only $200 for two) and they've been great ever since. The negatives I saw in the reviews were about their durability, but after a few months they are holding up well. I hope that for the money that has been invested in them they continue to work as they have been. Very happy with the price!

Very cheaply made. They work but fall apart every time I turn on the ignition. I've been using it for a month and the plastic casing of the one I'm using has already fallen into pieces. I will glue it together and will never be able to replace the battery. I would come back for a refund except the locksmith programmed it for $100 as I didn't have the original key and don't want to pay again.

The keys fitted and were programmed perfectly for our van, but the quality of the body plastic was so brittle that both broke when turning the key to start the car. I had to transfer the internal circuit board from this new key into my original plastic case from the original key that came with my 8 year old van. The original case still works with no cracks or breaks. Summary: The internal circuit board works, the plastic case it comes in is terrible.

Worked great. It was a bit difficult to find a place to carve the key. Home Depot wouldn't do that. The local Ace Hardware didn't want that either (they were afraid of the risk). Other Ace hardware would do this, so you'll probably just have to call. I would give 5 stars but the quality of the plastic buttons is not as good as the original. Maybe it doesn't matter because it's for the 2003 caravan. The original ones have already served 13 years and this one may not be needed.
