Not fully functional

The only downside I have with these key fobs is that they are NOT compatible with cars with a start button. Took them to a professional locksmith and figured it out after the first key was cut and programmed. They look nice and authentic and they unlock and lock the car but that's the only positive thing I can say.

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • The list gets long.

Follow the instructions to tee off and you will be happy. My remote start is

I had them cut to size for free at a local hardware store who are happy to do business. Sitting in the car and doing nothing while it programs itself takes all of ten minutes. Follow the tee shot instructions and you will be happy. I have a remote start, the trunk and door locks all work. A good thing

  • Everything is great!

Works Great - Keyless Entry Systems

Works Great. Avoid high dealer costs. I only had one key that was faulty (it kept opening and closing the tailgate, 2012 GMC Terrain) so I had to actually start the car, let it run, then turn it off and quickly remove the key, replace the cut. Key for a new one and restart the car, all in less than 10 seconds as explained in the instructions. It took a few tries but worked like a charm. Now laser cut the second key and get 2 working keys for less than $100. Great guide and product.

Pros
  • Hands Free
Cons
  • Crumpled

They are inexpensive and work well, but are fragile.

They work and the price is right but they seem quite fragile. My key fobs were cut and programmed by a locksmith, but I lost my entire set of keys within the first week. After that, the keychain I had on my ring didn't work as well. The front part has separated from the back just enough to prevent proper contact with the buttons, making it seem like the signal (infrared?) is weak. After a few weeks of trouble I've started using a different keychain and so far it's working great. Thank you toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Great key, great price

The only thing to worry about is going to a good locksmith who knows what they're doing. Tip: Take your car with you when you cut the key to make sure it was cut correctly. Mine had to be run through the car again before it could fit properly and turn on the ignition. No problem with the key, a problem with the operator, but it was solved. Programming was easy. I have a 2012 Chevy Equinox. Just plug the original into the ignition. start the car Wait a few seconds, turn off the machine and pullโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High test scores for grip and durability

  • Not as thick as other picks

Stopped working in less than a week

UPDATE: After spending a small fortune cutting this key, the remote stopped working in less than a week. Now he just starts the car. The lock, unlock, remote start, trunk, or panic buttons do not work. Tried replacing the battery, didn't help. waste of money. From now on I will order factory remote controls. They work great after being cut for my Chevy Cruze but the battery holder is junk. There is a small piece of plastic around the edge that holds the battery. It was so thin on the 2 Iโ€ฆ

Locksmith needed

Hello! This product is exactly as described. That's the real deal. There are no problems with electronics and battery compartment. There are no issues with the thickness of the keys. The locksmith made the key in less than 10 minutes. The locksmith spent most of his time booting up his CNC computer. The key is easy to program after the key is cut. My ideal situation would be to take the original carved metal key and insert it into a new keychain. The keychain must be made with a detachableโ€ฆ

Works well.

Easy to program. (It's not the first time I've done this. Thanks, Chevy.) The key fob is plain, with no stickers or cutouts for one on the back. do aftermarket) If you plan to reuse the factory key shank, tape it together right out of the box, leave it. Remove the roll pin from the old key fob by gluing the new key fob together. took both key fobs to the car and left the shaft in the ignition. swapped the hand-held transmitters over with the same

4 Correct 1, Matches OEM

It is important to verify this item with your key OEM, especially if you are a 2016 or newer owner. Certainly, 2016 and later some GM vehicles were equipped with a keyless system (sometimes called a proximity sensor) (no need to turn the ignition key). So there is not only the number of buttons (5 instead of 4), but also operation with or without a key (possibility of contactless access). Note. The OEM model number is usually hidden/secured just below the flip button (just press the flip button
