Works like the original!

The remotes arrived as advertised, which is always nice (and Revain is very good at that). I read the instructions, tried programming. and no luck. I probably didn't turn the key on and off quickly enough because the door locks didn't work. My wife tried it and she got one working (but didn't try to program both at the same time). We both got in the car and once it was in programming mode (according to the instructions) I pressed the button on the remote and both were programmed. They work…

Big! Easy to use and very good price

Yes! It was very easy to program for my 1998 Explorer. To program, you get in the car and close the door. Turn the key from the OFF position to the ON position 8 times, leaving the key in the ON position on the 8th time. The door locks are then cycled through. After a lock cycle, press the lock button on each remote you wish to program (even on existing remotes you have been using as it may not work now when programming or "pairing" remotes unless you reprogram them) . Sorry you can't have multiple remotes

The included programming guide works like a charm. PROBLEM: When programming the 2nd remote control, the 1st is explicitly overwritten so that the 1st no longer works. Turns out you can only program 1 remote to make it work. So why sell in pairs? UPDATED: Instructions from the RemotesRemotes.com website include the following programming instructions: 1.
