When I received the remote cover it didn't work. Request a refund but they sent me another remote cover that didn't work. It's been over a month and the money still hasn't been refunded.

Worked great. I ended up taking a chunk out of my old one to get it working properly, but it worked. The key piece had broken off my old one, so more for the occasion than function.

I was trying to use it as a replacement for my Acura (as described). I couldn't close it properly. I'm tech savvy, that's not the point. I think it might work with another year/brand but not mine as advertised. They accepted my return.

Great replacement. Had to remove trunk knob to get it right but works fine. The main complaint is that I bought it because of the picture. Instead got a black shell. Not the best way to sell a product but it was cheap and did the job so I won't be returning it. Not worth the trouble.

Very durable and easy to transport old remote control internals. However, the item I received does not look like the picture. It's all black and (not that I need it) doesn't have a circle next to the unlock button. While there is a button to unlock the trunk inside when you open it. With new rubber insert. After migrating everything, I tested it and it works.

I like the idea of not having to change the whole chain as mine still worked. It was only broken in the key ring hole. I had a small problem: at first it didn't work. I had to open it up and cut out the left circle of the button (on the right side seen from the front) where the button wasn't. By cutting out this part it was possible to connect the electronics. Attached is a picture of what I had to cut out. Hope that helps.

I have had several aftermarket "cases" for my Acura mdx including the Dorman brand. This is by far the best as the color matches the plastic and not just the color of the surface being rubbed. Also, the "keyhole" is surrounded by a lot more plastic, which should make it less prone to breakage. It also has a cutout so you can see the LED flash when it's locked. The only downside is that you have to pry the positive terminal off the old cap with a standard small screwdriver.
