This replacement case works well. The electronics fit in perfectly and it's nice to see the symbols on the buttons again! (The original icons were deleted years ago.) However, as other reviewers have noted, the metal battery connector is not included with this kit and I was afraid of tearing it apart trying to remove it from the original housing. Instead I used the original back and replacement front and spliced them together. It's not perfect, but it works. See my photo to see what's missing.

GREAT key fob replacement option compared to buying a new one from the dealer and spending a lot of money. Gave "easy to install" 4 stars because you need to remove the metal battery connector from your factory remote and switch to a new replacement version. It's also better to use the rubber insert from your factory key fob instead of a new one. For some reason the original OEM rubber insert is more sensitive to finger touches. Bought a '99 Jeep Cherokee Sport that had a broken/worn key fob.
