If you want to remove the key you have to stick your nails in and try to pry it out rather than having easy access like regular key fobs. This can take a long time. If you then try to plug it back in after using the key, the design flaw is that other keys prevent it from returning to the socket. Please save your money and DO NOT buy. no locking mechanism. So if I overtighten it I have to take out the keys if I want to take out the keys without breaking the nail in half and the screw a little bit loose then this stupid screw will fall out. While this is a great idea and it holds all of my husband's keys and protects his pocket, using it for old car keys has proven dangerous. A good keychain for solving problems like "Oh my keys keep bumping into my leg". It holds the keys securely and compactly well.
