🚲 Adjustable Aluminum Alloy Center Mount Kickstand for 16-20 Inch Kids Bicycles and Adult Mountain Bike/Road Bicycles Review

Needed a footrest for a recently bought bike. This one was perfect in every way - adjustable, good price, easy installation, fast shipping.

Clip easily damages the paint on the bicycle frame. We have several bikes from kids to adults but none fit in size or angle.

A You can see in the photo when the footrest is folded down, in the lowest position it tilts the bike in the wrong direction. The footpeg is too long for the 16" Trek estimate. I've tried different places to find an alternative, but that's not universal.

Luckily I found one that isn't too expensive, uses the included bike mount system, and is easy to install. Stupidly I thought when I photographed the bikes I bought for my kids (16 inch wheels) it would work with a bike like this Size (for my 5 year old twins). ). But even on the shortest setting it doesn't, it's too long so the side stand tips the bike over! Coming back is a hassle, so when I get home figuring out how it works, I'll most likely just sand down the end of the black arm that's wiggling to make it shorter.

Rubs a tire on a standard 18" bike that I mounted it on. Tried it on another bike with 18 inch tires and same thing. I didn't want to bother returning for a sub-$15 purchase and just sand the gap with a grinder because I have the skill and tools to do so, but most looking for a lightweight bike kid bolt , were outside ! Didn't fit at first! Buy a cheaper metal rod.

This running board fits well and feels solid enough. My 5 year old son has no problem with it. The setting offers a wide range when the bikes can be used. We mounted it on a bike with 16" wheels and it's almost as short as it is. Installation was easy for me and only took a few minutes. There were no instructions or installation instructions that might pose a problem or problem for some people. I suggest just looking at another bike with a kickstand. Installation is really easy.

I measured my son's bike before buying it and the kickstand doesn't work. It's too long, even though its short setup lists it as fitting my son's bike.
