The material is soft but thin. They shrink a little after washing, so I recommend ordering a size up. My son is 8 and I ordered a large size and he usually wears medium. I think you can get the same shirts cheaper at Walmart or Target, but I'm keeping them to myself as we need them for the school program.

Very good quality shirts, softer and stronger than I expected but also larger than I expected. So many reviewers recommended a review but they are huge for my daughter. She is 9 years old and wears a size 7/8 or 10/12 depending on the brand. I bought 10/12 in them and the arms are too long and the shirt length is too long. I would only recommend taking a size measurement if your child is large or tall for their age.

Bought these for my preschooler to wear under the uniform on cold days in Colorado and they worked great! My daughter is tall and thin and they fit her perfectly! They stretch a little, which is nice, and really well made. They have been washed several times (cold/normal, gently) and show no signs of wear. They are really soft and comfortable and I expect to be passed on to her little sister. I highly recommend them!
