I have a Mickey Mouse gate in my house to keep dogs out of a part of the house. I replaced it with THIS and what is the difference. I like going through the gate. I work simple and easy to install, what more could you ask for? It is also attractive not to make your home look tacky.

I really like this gate, it's ideal for closing off part of the house. It was very easy to install. At first I thought something was wrong because the latch was missing, but once you get it tight it's not a problem. Easy to open and close, but not that easy for a child. It also doesn't need holes in the wall.

My only complaint is that there were no installation instructions other than what was printed on the outside of the box. I'm lucky I can understand how things work. I didn't have to use extension cords to fit my doorway. It's much better than the wooden gate I borrowed. He stays where he is and confronts my puppy Chessy.

The latch works well but when you open the gate and lift off the latch the lower hinge/shaft point comes out of the hole securing the gate to the frame. They are now sold out and I have already purchased the Y ladder extensions and attachments. Such a crap. I used Kidco goals when my kids were little and they were always great goals. Too bad I gave them away when my kids grew up. Now I need this for a dog.

This gate was very easy to install and the instructions were well written and clear. I love that it comes with extensions so it can be placed where you need it. I bought this to keep my dog away from litter boxes. It works great, the gaps between the bars are just big enough for my cat to get through but the dog can't. My only complaint is that the locking mechanism is a little tricky to operate with one hand, but that may be because I have small hands.

When I'm babysitting, there are places in the house I don't want to let the little ones go. I also pay attention to the look of things in my house, so I don't need big, thick plastic. These gates are elegant and attractive. It matches the black accents in my house and doesn't stand out like a gate. It was easy to install and most importantly easy to use. No more falling gates or getting stuck. So far he has withstood a few toddlers and no one has escaped.
