The bookcase looks very good and has held up a decent weight so far. This allows my son to stand up at the age of two and have everything right in front of him and within reach. on the other hand. Finally, I wish the lamination adhered a little better. There are a few spots where it is not fully bonded.

I usually read reviews before I buy. I made a HUGE mistake by NOT even doing it! Raven, you failed me. It wasn't just a catastrophe that was created! Pressed wood is cheap. Glued-in laminate stickers are peeling off. The screws broke immediately. I have a crappy product that is not assembled properly. I have entrusted almost all my purchases to you, but this is a waste of money, time and simply put, a piece of garbage! Please sell better products for the love of Jezebel!

Having looked forward to the arrival of this bookshelf, we immediately assembled it and the rails are COMPLETELY misaligned :( They come to the floor, the pockets are obviously tilted (1 , 5" on the bottom rail). Excellent bookshelf! This is the perfect height for my 2 year old. He likes to drag books over there for me to read to him. You definitely need 2 people for assembly; although it is simple and relatively easy. Difficult to grip and hold the bars straight while inserting them. This book stand is 97.5% good. I had a bit of an issue with some of the bars/ends coming up with the screws so two of them didn't go all the way in on one side, but it still seems pretty solid. Be careful when assembling as some are much harder to tighten by hand than others and unfortunately too delicate for use with a power drill.
