This shelving unit is a nightmare to put together! The end result is (almost) worth it. But if you're not a fan of jigsaw puzzle games that require a lot of time and patience, FORGET IT!

Love the style, color and size. Unfortunately it was slightly damaged. The edges have the appearance of aged wood, giving them an aged look. I would send it back but it's too cumbersome to take apart and put back in the box.

Was pretty easy to put together and I love that they can be stacked. The only thing is that the color of the espresso doesn't quite match the color of the espresso bed frame that I got from the same company. Otherwise it looks good, so I can't complain.

Perfect baby bookshelf. He uses it as a gaming table. If it were on it (not yet) it would be extremely durable and low enough that I wouldn't worry. It is easily accessible for him. We use one of the short shelves for his puzzles and another shelf for books. Tall shelves are great for large books. It comes with hardwear if you want to put another one on top and mount it on the wall if needed. Great bookshelf, wish it had more colors like blue or red.

Received this as a Christmas present for a family in need that we sponsored at my work. The request was for a small bookshelf. A single mother has two young boys, one is a toddler, and both love books. After browsing, I realized that this one would definitely meet their needs. Great workmanship, easy to assemble. And what I liked is that it can be stacked. As the children grow and accumulate more, a second block can be added at the top. (Just make sure everything is secured properly.)

Ideal size for children's books which are typically small cardboard books or large picture books that do not fit on standard shelves. We also have KidKraft playhouses of the same high quality. We have this piece on the floor for now so my kids can get the books themselves, but we can put it in the drawers later. Very durable. My 2 year old sits on it with no problem. I even stood on it myself as a last resort to hang a picture and it didn't budge under 120 pounds. It's believable how many books

I bought two of these for our kids room and I'm very happy with how they turned out. However, assembly was a bit annoying. Everything comes together with small glueless wooden pegs so it balances along the way to make sure it doesn't tip over on its side. Once you get past that learning curve, it increases fairly quickly and eventually becomes quite robust. did a good job of making it look like a tree. The two blocks fit together perfectly and offer plenty of storage space for toys and books.
