5 year old loves her!

She likes to cut her own food with knives. I feel extra reassured knowing she's less likely to get hurt by them while I'm done cooking/serving other meals.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Prize for piggy bank

Great find for the kitchen and dining room

I love this product. It is durable and easy to use. My 3 year old even uses them to slice apples. I love that you can actually cut things, but it's very hard to hurt yourself with it. Great for my independent toddler.

Pros
  • Easy to assemble
Cons
  • No power

GREAT FOR KIDS! - boxed knife sets

We bought these for our 4 year old son. He likes to cut his food and fruit and also helps us to cut our food. This gives him a sense of independence and helps him prepare meals. They are very easy to use and very durable!

Pros
  • quick change
Cons
  • sad packaging

Very important! in Cutlery & Knife Accessories

I bought these along with the cookbook for my 6 and 8 year olds when they got interested in cooking (thanks Masterchef Junior!). They are stronger than I thought, nice and light. They don't cut like regular knives, but cut things like fruits and veggies, sandwiches, etc. well enough. Great purchase!

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Reliable

They are working on some stuff

Working on my 4 year old's manual dexterity and life skills for PreK homeschooling. He loves these knives! They don't cut much (lettuce, peppers, cucumbers, apples) but it's enough to make him happy. The way they are made makes them cut properly. They require a little pressure, but he gets used to it. Very robust and a stepping stone for little cooks

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Needs more sawing motion for work

Bought for our Junior Sous Chef who cooks with me. She knows how to handle it and cuts all kinds of things: cucumbers, tomatoes, strawberries and bananas, to name just a few. I feel like they cut harder foods better because they can use their weight and it's easier to press on. However, with softer products you need a sawing motion to make the cut, which is difficult for our 3 year old.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Security

Great knives for kids

I can't cut leather without a lot of effort, intention and control, perfect for my 1.5 year old. Now they help in slicing soft fruits and vegetables like bananas and mushrooms. I use them for anything that needs them to learn how to cut quickly, like broccoli and peppers, to show that these aren't toys, but functional knives that adults use too. so young but we are incredibly impressed with these knives, especially at $2 a piece.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Approximately

Regret buying a good one for kitchen dining

I don't know what I was thinking about this purchase and wish I had spent a little more for something better like metal or wood that is really good for class would be purposes. They probably just end up in a landfill. Firstly, I didn't need a 3 pack for my only child, all sizes are basically the same. The blade is quite thick so it won't cut anything that isn't soft, so something like a slice of apple needs to be sawn. A butter knife would be a better option for training and avoiding that…

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • No
