My son loved getting this for his birthday (6) but managed to break it within the first few hours - the hook handle broke completely. Usually the "spokes" fail first, so I'm wondering if it was a defect. He's usually very careful about things.

They are really cute. My dog chewed the handle a bit but still very cute. You have been serving us for a year now. We get a lot of compliments on these umbrellas. The price was good, about $10 each. Update: It's been a few years. One of the umbrellas broke a bit because we handled it too roughly (broken while moving). It was worth it.
