My 8 year old son decided to be John Lennon on Halloween. The shirt is of good quality and looks very good. After reading the reviews I decided on size 14-16. It suits him perfectly. It's snug but not too tight. But if I bought his normal clothes at the Gap or The Children's Place he would wear an 8 or a 10. So this shirt definitely runs small as other reviewers have noted.

We bought a small t-shirt for my little (48") 8.5 year old girl to wear as John Lennon at the school wax museum. Me wanted the t-shirt to fit like a shirt and not like a big tight t-shirt to get the right "look" like it was washed, dried and possibly shrunk.So I ordered a size 6-8.
