This is a wonderful car for my paralyzed son

This is a wonderful car for my paralyzed son. He is 7 years old and keeps his head up and can swim safely. I love it and use it overtime when we are at the pool.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Not sure

Very small neck circumference.

I was very disappointed with the size of the swim collar. My son is a small adult but he is too small for his neck. It would be helpful to add an inner circle to the measurements for clarity.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Out of style

TOTALLY USEFUL for boating

I loved it because it gave my son freedom in the pool! My son barely keeps his head up, but with this item that's no problem! I have to be with him all the time, take care of him and sometimes hold the car. My son is 7 years old, he is very thin and fits perfectly.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not bad

Very safe float for children with special needs

I bought this for my daughter who has cerebral palsy. She is 4 years old (she is small for her age) and she is very comfortable with it. With this swimmer she has room to grow. It gives her so much freedom and protects her too. We have tried many floats that don't work. This one is worth the money.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Appearance

He is my favorite boy and it made him very happy

This is an amazing product. My daughter and I both work in a family of 8 foster children 7 with special needs. Two ATVs, and one is very mobile and loves the water, it works great for him. When we first put it on him he spent 2 hours in the pool swimming backwards and laughing the whole time. He's my favorite boy and that made him very happy.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes

Absolutely normal. not fantastic but worth a try!

This is better than what I found, not super basic in a very good category. My disabled child used a neck ring for swimming but we replaced it with a larger one. It is difficult for her to put her neck through because the strap covering it interferes with boarding. The neck opening is only 1 inch smaller. I constantly have to change the position of my child so that it doesn't choke on the pressure in my throat. This keeps her in the pool and gives her the freedom to "swim" without me having to…

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Useless features

My son loves using this float!

My son has cerebral palsy and can't walk. I bought this float to give him some freedom in the pool. He loves to! He is 12 years old, weighs about 96 pounds and is about 5 feet 4 inches tall. The only issue we have, which is very specific to his disability, is that he can get his hand under the float, tilt his head back, and possibly submerge his face in water. We are watching closely that this does not happen. Otherwise we love it!

Pros
  • No need to inflate
Cons
  • High price

It's ok, part of the neck could be bigger

My son is 6 years old, he has cerebral palsy. He LOVES the water which was great growing out of his old neck float. It was snug around his neck (or so we thought) until we realized he would only throw up in the water when it was on. At first we thought it was acid reflux or just being in the water so we experimented and he didn't vomit on the days we just held him underwater when he was in it. It's been 2 months now and it's too late to return it and we hardly ever use it.

Pros
  • Light yellow color
Cons
  • Very expensive

Works, but not perfectly

This swim collar really works. Provides very strong buoyancy to keep my son's head above water while allowing his body to move freely underwater. My son is a special needs child. He is three years old with poor head control and low muscle tone. He likes to swim. This is the first collar we have used. However, I believe this one is intended for adults. Its thickness is greater than the length of my son's neck. Therefore, it is difficult to put on. Also, my son's cheeks are very pinched in the…

Pros
  • Great for aqua aerobics and therapy
