This photo frame is really good. I thought it would look like a barn or driftwood but it looks like cheap plastic. I think you get what you pay for. I was really disappointed with this frame. I've already bought a similar real wood to replace because this one looked so bad. Even from a distance it looks fake and cheap. Save yourself the hassle and just buy a nicer frame.

Nice frame but bad quality! I was so happy when I received it, but just opening the box, the frame broke off, and then the metal pieces you tip forward to take the back off and put in your own photo caused even more chipping. I would have sent it back but for that reason the second frame I ordered arrived broken and unless I put the picture in something it will be dirty. that's all. At least it looks good at the moment.

Obviously this frame was cheap so my expectations weren't crazy. With that in mind, I still can't believe how distasteful this looks. It doesn't even look like real wood. Even the colors look disgusting. In the photo it looks like the gray filling is mixed with shades of natural wood. It is greenish in color with yellow stripes around the perimeter. I have bought many frames from Amazon at a reasonable price and have been very satisfied. buy elsewhere.

I was concerned about these frames after reading some of the reviews as some people were getting broken/damaged frames and others had issues with it being like "cheap" or "fake" the frames looked like. Guess we got lucky as I ordered two 8x10 gray wood pattern frames and both arrived in excellent condition despite (oddly) sending in two different boxes. I took it all the way out of the box, removed the plastic wrap and it literally started to crumble in my hands. I even cut myself with one of those cheap braces you can see in the pictures! Definitely not a barn, cheap crumbling plastic that doesn't even remotely look like wood. Based on this one experience, I will NEVER order frames from Revain anywhere else, even though I'm in the process of doing a complete renovation.
