Love the product and the size/weight. It is very useful and of good quality. My only complaint is that I wish it had come in a box for easier gift wrapping. I like to give them away as graduation and housewarming gifts for young people.
I liked the one I had and one of the kids took it to college. It's a spare because having all those little screwdrivers in one place and being able to drive in a small nail (or break the ice in an ice bucket) is priceless.
I work with low voltage on the side, I have a tool box but really only have low voltage tools and a few power tools. I don't need a hammer, but I do need it from time to time when I get a persistent hit or a staple pops out and my wire cutters won't cut it. It's a handy little option that also gives you screwdrivers as a bonus.
I used to collect only one piece of furniture and the Phillips head was already starting to come loose. The screws also fit perfectly, so it is not due to incorrect installation of the screws. Must be the metal used in construction. If the materials were better it would be awesome, but that's how it is. mostly decorative.
I got one of these hammers from my parents when I graduated from high school and use it all the time. My son always borrowed it and I had to go to his room to get it. I gave him one for his birthday. gave it to him in late March 2021, the hammer head fell off last week when using it in July 2021. Poor quality and cannot return the product.
Too late to return - $10 wasted! I bought it a year ago (early 2020) but still haven't opened the box. Then I found that the large handle/screwdriver section could not be screwed into the hammerhead section. The threads on the two sections are not hooked. Either one thread area is too large or the other is too small. I can actually connect and disconnect two sections without screwing. As the two halves cannot be screwed and tightened, it is thus not possible to use this hammer as a hammer as…
