Good Good. - Tube fittings

The handle looks like it will break over time, but it's great value for money. Cheaper than home goods. But not as high quality and beautiful as BRS.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Safety

Easy to twist - pipe fittings

Compared to a PVC ball valve, this valve has taken the place of day and night. I can turn this valve with one finger. A ball valve required a whole fist.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Obsolete model

like oil. good for pipes, fittings and accessories

Connected to my aquarium's drain line to the sump. This allows very fine tuning to reduce noise/flow. Day and night against hardware store valves.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Best PVC valve I have ever found

I bought 2 of these valves (1 inch) for my aquarium installation. The original valves I had were very difficult to turn. This valve has everything a PVC valve should be. It doesn't flow, it spins very easily, it's not too big physically, and the price is right. If you need a PVC valve, you should buy this one! You can get it in sliding or threaded form.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Not sure

Works like a charm: Rough Plumbing

I fitted this valve to my Bean Animal overflow and it has worked flawlessly to this day. At first I didn't like that the valve looked like there was some oil around the internal locking mechanism, but I wiped and flushed it and it didn't cause any problems with my tank. I chose a cheaper valve than spears because I knew once I had it set up I wouldn't have to move it too much. Highly recommended. Especially considering how cheap it is.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Edited review, Valve has a leak.

Edit 12/23/2017: After 5 months (received the product in June but didn't start using it until July) of normal use in the reef aquarium's sump system, there was a leak in the valve area nearby of the valve (see photo). Picture). Right now it's about 2-3 drops per minute but obviously I can't keep using this without risking the leak getting worse. The valve still rotates very smoothly, but leakage is unacceptable. I will have to replace this valve, most likely I will look for another…

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Some defects
