I use this tape over an existing one to absorb the shock of the cobblestones on my route. It worked as expected, and while there's no glue on it, it stays in place with no issues if you apply it firmly and overlap about halfway.

It's no glue, it's steering wheel foil and it works great! Comes with a small dab of glue to finish it off, I also used some of my own black tape. The chrome tips didn't match my old bike tips, but the ones I reinstalled looked great.
