This company has a full line of tie pins, pins and brooches all marked for men. I do not understand. They all look like women's jewelry. This is a delicate dark brass/black rose. I don't even know if it's real metal - very light. It's pretty enough and would look great on the lapel of a women's jacket or even on a hat if women still wear hats. The back seems to hold securely so you shouldn't lose it. I have some gay friends and even they wouldn't wear this because it's too girly. Strange.

This flower brooch came in a cute paper box and is lightweight. The stem of the flower is very flexible and I wish it was a little more durable. Because of this, I docked a star. The flower's petals are quite strong and do not bend easily. The clasp is a pin that is inserted into the end cap. It fits snugly and doesn't come loose when worn. I think this brooch will look good on both men and women.

This is a well made and detailed pin. It's durable and doesn't appear to be prone to breakage with normal use. This pin comes in a cute box, perfect for gift wrapping. The pin is made of shiny gunmetal metal. Mine has a few spots where the coating is blistering. This is jewelry, so the sebum will discolor over time. It's a safety pin, so it shouldn't make too much contact with the skin, and discoloration shouldn't be a problem much longer than if it were a ring or bracelet.

Cute little pin. Basically what I mean is that in person it looks exactly what I would expect from product photos: black metal and fairly detailed flower. Some Thoughts: 1. It comes in a small box, which could be gift wrapped.2. The cap at the end is secure.3. It's not a "nice decoration" by any means, but it's a nice touch nonetheless.
