Unreliable Chisel for Industrial Use

Through trial and error, I found that this chisel is not capable of handling heavy use in an industrial setting. While it may work for occasional use, it quickly becomes dull and loses its edge.

Good tool, lame scabbard.

Why not 5 stars? The shell is crap. Looks good but one corner started fraying and falling apart on day one and I'm having a hard time getting the chisel back in so I have to do it myself. The tool is superb, picks up and holds the blade well. I just want the scabbard to be the same quality

You need to redo and grind down the edge to use as a chisel.

Both edges are double beveled which means they rise from a flat surface by about 1-2mm making it an extremely poor flat chisel. It feels good in the hand but took an hour or two to fix with a wheel and a whetstone. It could just be a low quality factory edge without the double bevel and it would have taken 15 minutes to fix with a secondary bevel but I think they wanted general purpose and the double bevel in their random way that they theoretically do have made it more durable. , although the…
