The original cord was grey. New black. No mistake. It's well made and appears to be a general purpose cable so only a little twisting was required. Installation will require a torx key or torx screwdriver, but if you have one it's easy.

While not an exact replacement, the cable works just fine. The look on my kids faces when dad fixed the vacuum cleaner: priceless. Now they can do their housework again. What's not to like about it? Just watch the video online for installation tips. A clean home is a happy home.

This is a replacement suction cord only. It was easy to install and my vacuum cleaner started working again. Aside from expecting gray but going black it does everything I expected and honestly it could have come in pink and I wouldn't care because I can suckle pets with endless wool again so it's perfect

The cable was very easy to install and the cleaner worked like new. Outside, our old cord wasn't damaged, but we noticed that the kids weren't unplugging the vacuum cleaner, they were pulling on the cord. Something broke in the cable and the power went on and off. This completely solved the problem.

According to the product description, this cable should work with the Ultimate G Series Vacuum Cleaner - G7D. However, the mount is not compatible with the Diamond Edition Ultimate G Series G7D. The attached photos show that the original bracket (light grey) is longer and sloping compared to the new bracket (dark grey).

One star not because the product doesn't work but because they sent me the wrong color. The cable I received was black and gray according to the product description. However, I'm not too upset. The product does not match the description. Plus, it was easy to install and works just like the original. The only reason I didn't return it was because I needed it to use my vacuum cleaner.

I was having power issues with my Kirby so we took it to our local vacuum shop. They said the power cord needed replacing and they would charge me $160 for it. Thank goodness I was smart enough to look it up on YouTube and see how easy it is to replace. In fact, I left it to my 3 year old son. Thank goodness Revain had a spare cable for about $30! The list of machines this cable fits is completely fake! If we're just talking about the application of energy to a vacuum; excellent Two places on this cable don't match the G7D: On the motor, the bracket doesn't match at all. There is no tab on the handle to hold the line in a special hooking device that is included. I had to renovate both locations to get the owner back in business.
