Great basic raincoat for my son at school. It folds to fit in a backpack but is still durable. My son has a size 6-8 boys shirt so the size 7x in the jacket was perfect with little room to grow. I wasn't sure about the look of the white zip pocket on the front but personally it adds some style to the jacket. My son likes it even better.

Bought 5T for my little ones who just outgrew all their 4T stuff. This coat is almost to the knees and the sleeves are too long. However, they don't seem to care; we can layer it; and it will fit more than one season. The gray zipper works, but there's no pocket behind it (my pocket-obsessed kids were a bit lazy). And the red one we ordered had what appeared to be red ink on the gray fabric of that zipper. I came back for a new one but it's on this one too.

The coat is nice and waterproof, so good. However, there are some things that don't really work or are just for decoration. For example, a chest pocket zipper is just a zipper, there is no pocket. Maybe you could keep the pencil, but actually it's just for beauty's sake. In addition, decorative laces on the hood and hem. They don't have elastic so you can't pull up the hood or the bottom of the coat. Finally, there are two pockets whose openings do not run diagonally but parallel to the floor…
