Cheaply made. I knew they were bad when I asked my daughter which one she would like to take to school, old or new, RED and she said old. That's when I realized they weren't good.

I like that it heats up quickly, but my hair gets stuck between the slots of the plates and pulls my hair out. Just took it out of the box, brand new, and it's done it before. I am extremely disappointed. Definitely the last time I use a titanium straightener.
