Finally a pair of oven mitts that really work. I was looking for a pair that would really handle the stove but all American ones seem so flimsy and inefficient. You are perfect. Thick, durable and heat resistant. Perfect for a pair of British hands!

At first I was excited. It was exactly what I was looking for. Have a lot of weight for her. Then I washed it before first use. The inner (cream) fabric has transferred the pieces to the black fabric and they are really hard to tear off. This is similar to accidentally washing a Kleenex cloth, although the cloth is easier to remove.

You can't burn your hands no matter how hot the boiler is. The fabric is thick and heavy on the inside, not the fluffy polyester you find in most American oven mitts. I've washed mine many times with no problems. I didn't put it in the dryer. This is a truly professional style and quality product. I just wish they were different colors

Very handy when removing large items such as roast chicken or roast chicken from the oven. The arm area is large, which can be uncomfortable for small hands. It takes me a few seconds to set it up so I can hold onto a hot object. The thermal stability is excellent. I never felt hot while using it. The heat resistance makes the few seconds to adjust my hands no problem.

I love everything in a double tack! They are very difficult to find in stores. I was a little hesitant because it was more than I wanted to spend, but it was worth it. There is an additional heat-resistant seal on the underside. I can easily hold a hot pan the whole time while stirring whatever I'm cooking. There is more than enough material between the petals so you can easily handle even the largest of pots. I washed and dried it and it looks like I just received it.
