Scissors are what they are meant to be They are sharp and made as described, I'm not used to the difference in grip and will have to get used to it. I like that they can be sharpened like a knife. It makes me more valuable

These are excellent kitchen scissors. I only use them for poultry. I may never use my chef's knives for slicing again. They are ergonomic, easy to clean and I like that they are lockable for security. Excellent, they easily cut grain, bones and thick meat. I can absolutely recommend them.

I bought these for my upcoming Thanksgiving turkey cookup. I needed powerful cutters to cut the backs of the turkeys so I could prepare some turkeys and chickens for smoking. They are easy to clean in the dishwasher (just put some vegetable oil on the pivots and you're done)

Scissors are sharp but cannot easily cut through some plastic grocery bags such as those used for frozen vegetables. If you push the material to be cut too far into the open blades, the scissors will not cut. In addition, the locking mechanism, when open, greatly blocks the scissors from fully opening. Throw away those scissors.

I have a hard time finding scissors and other tools that fit my large hands. They are great, very durable and strong. They're definitely doing their job. Be careful as they are very sharp. I've used them several times, even to cut a chicken bone, and had no problems. I also like the security lock. It's an interesting design that works very well. I really like them and recommend them to others.

I've had them for about a week now. I don't understand the purpose of "scallop"; so far this has only led to a shortening of the cut surface. As others have noted, if you apply the item thick enough to hit that area, it won't cut well. So I reduced the star. But I still give them high marks because as long as they're strong and I'm left-handed who can use these scissors perfectly with both hands. Which came in handy when I broke my left arm and had to cut the bandage on the right.

After several weeks of daily use on chicken thighs (they cut meat really well) a knife started catching on the bolt head. Fully tighten the internal spring which effectively locks the scissors in place making it impossible to open/close until you take a screwdriver to loosen the mechanism. I don't see it very sorry.
