I don't know why sponges this size are so hard to find but none of my local shops carry them. I bought these after reading reviews that said they were sturdy and durable. Well it isn't. I use a sponge this size to wipe down counters and for it to be effective it needs to be squeezed as dry as possible. I'm no beacon, but when I squeeze them, they quickly rip to shreds. Absolutely not sustainable. I bought 12 thinking it would last a year but a sponge wouldn't last a week let alone a year.
