Coated C-Dough Hook for KitchenAid Mixer - K5ADH Review

My dough hook is broken. I carefully entered the Kitchenaide mixer model to find the correct dough hook. He hasn't shown up for a long time, in fact I left town before he showed up. When I got home I found the hook wasn't the right length for my blender and the return window was closed!

I ordered a part that fits my Heavy Duty Kitchenaid Blender. However, when it arrived it was not fully attached to the blender stick. The hole tapers down and is not fixed in the food processor. Didn't work, had to return.

Fits my car (K5SS). The distance to the bowl corresponds to the specifications of kitchen utensils (1 cent thickness). First, when kneading the dough, the coating is removed from a spot closer to the bottom of the hook. He didn't touch the bowl. I'm going back for another one and not hoping the second one will work...

not sure if it's because i have an old version of the kitchen helper but the attachment fits the top of my machine but doesn't let the top of the machine lay flat I can no longer use this appliance and bought it a few months ago so can't return it Beware if you have an old kitchen help!

Nice and strong hook. However, it was returned as it does NOT fit the KitchenAid Artisan KSM150 Stand Mixer. Someone in the questions department said it would fit, but it's about a half inch longer than a blender with the bowl installed. The KitchenAid K45DH Replacement Kneading Blade for KSM90 and K45 Stand Mixers is the kneading blade you need for the KSM150.

It fits the KSM5 perfectly and is better built than the original (and worn out) hook that came with it. I will be hand washing this as previous wear appears to have been aggravated by corrosion in the dishwasher outlet. This could have been handled better before coating (mold lines are evident under coating) but that hasn't been a problem so far. This C hook kneads the dough better than the old "corner" hook.

We have become gourmets again. More and more people are finding time to cook at home. I know many more people younger than me who bake their own bread and use the slow cooker for soups and stews. Having a machine like the KitchenAid with a dough hook is phenomenal. This makes cooking at home a lot more fun and definitely easier. This eliminates the need to knead bread at home.
