Poor support

Very easy to use but broke after a few months of occasional use. It reportedly has "one year hassle-free replacement and a lifetime limited warranty." I tried contacting their support many times but they just made me wait on the line for a long time until I gave up and the chatbot on their site is useless. This is a good juicer, but don't rely on their warranty.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Compatibility

Main design flaws for fruits and vegetables

I liked the idea of this citrus press that collects juice in the base of the juicer. But there is a significant design flaw. If you press on the countertop to squeeze a lemon, it will break. Precisely what is intended as a design feature turns out to be a disadvantage. This is the second broken in the same place. I thought the first might be an accident. Well it isn't.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Plastic handle cracked after 3 months of use!

I bought this 3 months ago. It was a great tool in the kitchen. I was very disappointed that the yellow plastic on the bottom of the handle and juicer had cracks. It should most likely be a solid cast metal as the plastic wears out too quickly. We have several products for the kitchen and this is the first big disappointment! I'm trying to figure out how to contact Kitchen Aid about this but can't find it anywhere on their website. It doesn't look like they're supporting it anymore.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires outlet

Broke after 8 months

Looked pretty strong but broke squeezing a lemon this morning. This device consists of three parts. The tip is a metal lever that pushes the lemon through the strainer into the cup, which also acts as a stabilizer and support for the device when you're squeezing the lemon. That's the part that broke. Lower shell, stabilizer bar support. In the photo above, the device is turned upside down. The guilty lemon that broke the device is also in the photo, but he claims to be innocent! I reallyโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Expensive
