My favorite is Kitchen & Dining

I use it several times a week. I've used zucchini, turnips, rutabagas, parsnips, turnip greens, sweet potatoes, and more. I've read complaints that the spear doesn't grip the veggies tight enough. I always make sure the javelin is fully inserted, even with smaller javelins. Holds up well once everything is installed.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Negative Gift

Great idea, poorly done. Kitchenaid's claim that it is "premium metal construction" is FALSE. The blade carrier is made of plastic that bends and deforms. As a result, the cutter heads quickly begin to press against the long drive screw. Because it's so cheap and flexible, you can't successfully peel anything tougher than an apple. Even if you limit it to apples and handle it very carefully, after cooking 4 cakes it will deform to the point of being unusable. I will return it tomorrow. Edit: I…

The Absolute Worst Spiralizer

I've never felt a personal dislike for a kitchen appliance. This thing is so incredibly complex and just plain awful and has ruined my veggies so many times and completely ruined my dinner that I have no choice but toss this expensive piece of junk in the bin. When you place a vegetable on a skewer, the part that's designed to spiral into place holds it in place while the skewer twists and turns, punching a hole right through your veg, leaving you with a fully usable piece of product receive…

Save money and buy a manual handle

I bought this during a sale to replace my manual handle spiralizer and found it a waste of money. I've found it works best as an apple peeler to make a large batch of apple pie or apple chips. But for zucchini, it only accepts small-diameter courgettes and squashes you can find at the grocery store, and if you're growing larger ones, like most growers, you'll need to quarter them first. Then, worst of all, I've had very little success getting the fresh zucchini into a never-ending spiral that…

That's my favorite thing in the world.

I love pasta and bread and anything made of carbohydrates that we shouldn't be eating. I've lost a lot of weight over the past few years, but I'm a strict dieter and I'm dying to bring good pasta into my life. Being a baker, I bought a kitchen blender and attachments from Amazon during the Black Friday Sale. This top. I'm not an enthusiastic kitchen helper, not a crazy fan of unrealistic ratings. I have a one star food processor. It's exactly five. I can make huge pans of veggie spaghetti in no

Slight design change required

After reading the reviews my expectations weren't very high but I was hopeful. This is KitchenAid. I thought some of the negative reviews were just picky people. This product requires careful use. Some metal parts bend easily. After carefully using it as people suggested, I was able to use it and wind it up. I love the fact that it was so automated. I liked the idea of cleaning and rotating everything at once. Advantages: Easy to clean, assemble and disassemble. Perfectly peels and twists…

So easy to use does a great job spiralizing

So my review will be short and sweet because all I've used it for so far is spiralizing zucchini but if that's all I do ever had I will be completely satisfied with this product! I have a manual spiralizer and although it makes a good spiral zucchini, it takes forever and is very tiring on the hands. It took me almost 7 minutes to roll 4 large zucchini and when I was done my hand started cramping. I've been making a lot of zucchini pasta lately, and every time I've cooked a meal I didn't expect

Great attachment for my blender

I recently started using a manual spiralizer and I have not been able to slice veggies evenly. I was looking at a self-contained crank spiralizer when I saw that KitchenAid had released a new attachment that not only gets the job done, but can spiralize veggies and even peel them at the same time. I love the idea of expanding my blender instead of taking up space in my kitchen with another item. It also replaces my old-fashioned manual potato peeler, so I'm really making progress in space with…
