My kitten urinates a lot and if she urinates a few times before I can brush it's quite heavy. This shovel is strong enough not to break. However, the urine sticks and I need something to brush it off.

Nice shape, size and weight. Dirt doesn't stick to it. If you are looking for the largest size this might not be the right size but the smaller size is perfect for me as I throw my little bags in dog poop. It's better for opening.

Nice to know this isn't breaking under the pressure of box cleaning. However, there is too much space between the metal slots to allow too much dirt and other things to pass through. Doesn't sift that well. The slits need to be closer together as the urine will eventually break up and fall through the slits allowing feces to come out, but not as efficiently with urine.

This tool makes cleaning the pen easy and you don't have to change the pen as often as it removes all dirt. and the shovel stays clean. And the litter doesn't smell. I have a mat in the computer room, which is in the middle of the house and has no doors, so it's open to the dining room, the TV room, the room we call the playroom. We can't smell the litter box because this tool keeps it clean. Highly recommended.
