The cable works great! to the accessories

Since I didn't want to pay 80€ for the official cable, since it can still break easily and the price is so high, I found an alternative. After looking for a good one, I settled on this one. Of course I wasn't sure if it would connect, but it works great! Only lasted a few days but is still intact. The wire material feels cheap, but that's to be expected. Oculus does not recognize the cable

The cable is recognized by the Quest 2 and the computer and the cable can charge the Quest 2, but the Oculus setup itself cannot recognize the cable. I tested all my 3.0 and 2.0 ports, none work. The problem is either that Oculus/Facebook is preventing 3rd party accessories from working or the cable itself is not working. I know my ports are working because I used my Oculus Rift for a week before receiving the Kiwi cable. surprised if Oculus/Facebook recommended ANKER cable works out of the box

Works great but check your ports

You actually get different speeds depending on which USB port you use. I've tested all my 8 USB ports individually 5 times each and my top 3 ports (all 3 of them are USB 3.1 Gen 1 aka USB 3.2 Gen 1x1) are giving me 2.3-2.4 Gbps/s (see figure). My worst ports (front panel, again USB 3.1 Gen 1, aka USB 3.2 Gen 1x1) gave me about 1.9 Gbps. Obviously cable speed varies from PC to PC, but I'm pretty happy with this Kiwi cable because it works. excellent (although third party). It's also easy on the…
