Enhanced Klean Kanteen Sport Cap 3.0 Replacement Cap: Upgraded Functionality and Durability Review

Based on our own experience, this replacement cap is far from reliable. It leaks constantly, leaving us with a soggy mess every time we try to take a sip. The only upside is that it fits snugly onto our existing Klean Kanteen bottle. Unfortunately, the constant leaking outweighs any convenience.

I prefer spouts that open and close like this on our children's water bottles because they are easier to drink and avoid spills. But that rubber tip will trap debris underneath and inside, resulting in messy mold. We've only ever used them to drink water, so any particles that get in there are solely from toddler backwashing. I've tried washing dishes, washing my hands, soaking in apple cider vinegar, scratching with a bobby pin to no avail! Within 6 months they are not good. Too bad because we

There is nothing wrong with the type of caps you get in the sense that they all appear to be legitimate Kleen Kanteen caps, but they don't wear them There doesn't seem to be any order of what type of cap you were actually sent to. We received the type with the dust cover, but we wanted the type shown in the photo. Obviously we are not the first family to have this happen (there are many reviews but I found at least some people had the same problem). I would recommend NOT purchasing this item if
