A bit tedious when inserting the thread and the quality is not very good. My water level never reaches the sensor, so I took it off and physically dove into the sump to start the engine. I'll be back to filter socks once I finish this role.

Build quality is somewhat lacking. When replacing the filter, the tip will be bent. Difficult to line up the tabs and fold the top back. Can be secured simply by adding nylon spacers to the hinge during assembly. This product works well. And I like that I don't have to change filters every day. Filter rolls cost about $20. And last about a month

I like this roller filter. I bought a suitable stand to hold it. That's why I'm currently having problems with rising nitrate and phosphate levels. However it did crash and I'm not sure why. The reel gets stuck and the roller cannot roll it. I have to go in and manually pull the pulley (do you think it's overtightened?) and after that it keeps working.

Device: Fairly simple design and while it's a setup process it should be easy once you have it. The fit and finish are slightly different, requiring a little twisting of the frame to get things back in place. The top hinges on the right fit the pallets, but this annoys me as they detach and poke through the fabric every time I lift or move them. I installed this on IM NUVO 120g. All in one.
