Useful little soldering can. It heats the solder quickly and does its job while staying hot. A full cold pot of eutectic solder melts in just a few minutes. The wide neck at the top makes it easy to remove scale from the surface. The only downside is that the dial gauge (potentiometer) scale doesn't really tell you what's going on with the temperature, you just have to guess. Nice solder. That's the smallest I could find. Since it's 100w and the next (50mm) has 2x more solder I figured 100w would heat up faster. In my opinion it took about 350g of solder to cast. I filled it completely so that the flux foam on top can be easily wiped off with a sponge. The first came a little wrinkled in the packaging (Revain shipped it in a cheap box in an envelope so it's easy to damage because it's a very light metal) and will heat up but not melt the solder.
