Comfortable, good padding, stays in place. What else would you like to ask?

I've always used hard shell knee pads. Last month I laid a lot of pavers for various garden projects. The hard pads protect my knees but they don't stay in place and the straps cause pain in the backs of my knees. I bought them hoping they would feel better. Well this morning I laid about 40 more pavers which meant a lot of time kneeling in mud, sand or cement. Initial Rating All the good things that have been said about these knee pads in customer reviews are true. These are the most comfortable, non-slip, and functional knee pads I've ever owned, but they have one fatal flaw, which is why I'm giving them a 1 star rating. The fastening system of the button that holds the belt buckle is poorly designed. The built-in bolt holding the button is too short or too sharp and eventually the bracket will fail. Well made and designed, stays in place and offers excellent knee protection.

I do a lot of carpentry here at home and do floor repairs in many parts of our home. I have several cheaper knee pads that I bought at Home Depot and Lowes. While they protected my knees well, they tended to move and had to be constantly repositioned. They were also small in the area they covered.
