🧶 Knitter's Pride Basix 40-Inch Fixed Circular Needles, Size 50 (25mm) Review

I really like these needles but because they are bamboo they don't slip like aluminum metal needles. These are the perfect needles for beginners and I am very happy with them. this set as these were my first pair of circular bamboos. I have been knitting/crocheting for over 40 years. As a beginner on circular needles it gets the job done and I would only recommend the larger sizes above 5.0 for wood/bamboo like everything else. not so durable in use.

I needed strong, large circular needles to make my Christmas quilts. These needles are perfect. I love wooden needles because they are not as cold as metal needles and the yarn holds better. The wood is smooth and easy to work with. The cable is soft, you can play, but it doesn't stretch, which is good. I have knitted two giant blankets with these needles and would highly recommend them for your knitting projects.

I've been thinking about knitting a throw for a long time. Ever since I found out I'll be working in Boston later this year, I've made it a goal to start and finish the quilt before I leave so my boyfriend can pick it up while I'm gone. I'm using Lion Brand's Natural (Ivory) Fishing Wool and their Lover's Knot Afghan pattern with these needles.
