Brown sand shown. I added 1 extra bag of green sand. It is useful to have a carrying bag with you. The reason for the 3 stars is because you need a lot more sand to fill it remotely. I would say 3 sandbags (2 more since 1 is included) to fill one side of the tote. A real ballpoint pen in a case would also be nice.

Loved the case and the little tools that were included for easy play in the sand. The downside is you don't get as much sand as you see on the box! It's silly to think there's more sand in it.) Once opened we had to order another £3 bag hoping it would be enough to play with the £2 that's included. I try to cover only one side.

I have bought this brand before and have had good experiences with it - the sand is easy to clean. For some reason this particular item is very dirty and sand is everywhere all the time. Not sure if it's a one-time thing but disappointed that I spent money on something my kids love so much I'll probably throw it away at some point or just leave it on the street forever.

We used to buy other kinetic sand from the store and the quality varied so much that I really wonder if the one we got from Revain is fake kinetic sand. It's so dirty while the other kinetic sand we have is so easy to clean. You can't just brush the sand off your skin. It sticks. And you can't just wash it off. It sticks. We had to do a full, vigorous scrub with soap and water.

Overall good quality plastic but some design flaws. The design is comfortable to play with when open, but makes it difficult to close by placing extra toys in the right places to close. Not such a problem when an older child or adult is closing, but difficult for a 4 year old. In addition, there is no carrying handle when closed. The handle he shows is part of a cardboard cover that comes off when opened.

I was so excited to get this set for my 4 year old. We have two small containers and he loves to play with them so I knew he would have a lot of fun with this set but I was very disappointed. There isn't much sand in the kit to achieve what is shown on the box. Also, the quality of this sand is much lower than in the small containers that we have. I gave Heat 3 stars because it was an odd question and I didn't feel like it was too warm. Sustainability? My 3 year old nephew loved that his dad, mom and I should have this all in our homes for him lol. And the whole family can play with it, including adults of all ages! It's fun, it's kinetic sand! You will eventually need more sand but this particular case was purchased as the original was just a cardboard box and holds the sand much better. The sandbox molds were also well received.
