Kohler GP1021724 CP Kitchen Sink Hose Review

So far this hose, new spray head and hose, has had an intense chemical odor with every use. I've spilled a lot of water in a month and it won't go away. And the hose is so narrow. I don't like it at all. Update after 2 months. Big problem with this hose and sprayer. Still has a chemical smell after many liters of water when used. I've been using it for 3 months now and the smell hasn't gone away. There is a strong chemical smell every time I use it. No more Kohler for me

Wouldn't you like more standards for such things? Looks the same as my faucet atomizer but no way to connect it to my faucet. The hardest part was finding the quick connect mechanism because the sprayer connector is here and I don't have it. Both vaporizers look the same, there is no connector. I'm not a plumber. I bought this side sprayer to replace the one that originally came with our Kohler K-10412 kitchen faucet. It works well but the reinforced vinyl tubing used for this side atomizer feels quite stiff even when new and will yellow over time and is much less flexible. I would have preferred to replace that cheap vinyl hose with a high quality braided stainless steel hose but have not been able to find one that fits our application with 1/2" FIP on one end and 1/4" x 18 NPSM on the other.
