KOHLER K 9110 BN Vibrant Brushed Nickel Review

I recently remodeled my kitchen and needed to replace my faucet with brushed nickel instead of stainless steel. It was easy to install and works great with my Bosch dishwasher. The finish is really nice and the product is small and doesn't take up much space in your sink. Highly recommend for anyone looking to replace theirs and need a brushed nickel finish.

Double installation time due to weak bottom gland nut. When I tightened the top nut, it kept spinning. To prevent this, you need two installers. One holds the ground to make sure it is level. Second tightening of the top nut. I must have made 4 trips back to get the block out and put the bottom nut back on. If for some reason the tube tightens, the flexible lower plastic nut will jump out a few turns. In my opinion, cheap materials are on a noble name.

I paid $27 for a Kohler 9110-BN air gap from Revain only to find the internals are identical to a cheap one I bought from Lowe's 4 years ago Bought $11.50 (cm pic). These cheap air gaps break easily (see picture) if you remove the top to clean them. The Kohler's cap is metal, unlike the Lowe's plastic cap, which looks like metal. I got the Kohler version after getting a Home Depot product that claimed to be "brushed nickel". , but actually gray plastic with something was of gloss. The Kohler version is real steel with a brushed nickel finish, although the plastic fork body is the same quality as the HD version. that the return of the fork body forms a large angle with the vertical and this is very helpful when establishing an air gap for discharge to disposal.
