Just received it today. They easily mounted to my Rhino Rack using Rhino hardware (luckily I had an extra). As has been said, the plastic is tough, but it has to withstand the weather. So far I'm very happy with this purchase, especially at this price point.

Good luck with this product It doesn't have enough elastic so you can pull it to stretch it to the size you want It's very very stiff I called the company, they told me that it breaks after a while, it's no good if you need some kind of emergency, which was my aim.

The worst belts I have ever received. No exit. It is absolutely impossible to use any other hole than the first on the strap. It's not for quickly deploying tools or what you use them for. 1.5 inches just isn't enough. In other words, it's unregulated. The rubber band is too hard. The bracket is not suitable for non-round objects.

The product will hold the item in place with no vibration or fear of the strap coming loose. The problem I noticed is with the base. It has already started to break near the center mounting hole. This has greatly reduced my confidence to mount a shovel or ax on a roof rack at the risk of the attachment failing and damaging my car or worse, someone getting hurt.

These bindings are too strong to use. They can hardly be loosened or secured by hand, even if nothing is inside. A pair of pliers is a must. You can probably just try to tighten it to the next lower value by standing on it or using a vise. I'll probably keep them on the shelf for a few years and then throw them away. Very hard, very affordable, very useless.

As others have said this item is a semi permanent solution and is very difficult to stretch, open and close. I knew that I would still give 5 stars. Since I wanted to use it as a dog leash holder, I bought a Dremel. Grinding the notch makes it much easier to put on and take off. Of course you then compromise holding power, but I'm fine with that for my application. Very well made product and fits my MOLLE panel perfectly.

This is a ridiculously stiff/tough base compared to fast first holders. That's half the price too. I think they loosen with wear or are easier to use in a warm car, sun exposure etc. Good luck having your snow shovel free in winter. Not as adjustable as the more resilient rubber mounts I've used. You needed a pry bar to pry it open the first time, but they weren't attached to anything either, so there wasn't any leverage to pull the slick free end, which didn't help. Won't there be too many…

Unbelievable! Everyone says the rubber is too hard, yes it's a hard rubber for more durability. If you turn them upside down, the rubber will be light. I prefer rubber like this because it lasts longer. This ar15 model can be made with any vehicle, I drilled 4 holes and screwed them into a 2019 challenger trunk for my ar15. I bought these and they are great for travel. I use them to attach a shovel to a basket on the roof. They are excellent value for money and very durable. I think the negative reviews are coming from people who don't understand the breadth or weight capacity of what can fit. You're probably trying to attach something bigger or heavier than this strap and end up breaking it. I suggest you do your research and find out what size and weight you use it for before you buy it.
