Ideal for motorcycle winter use.

So I installed them on my Yamaha Super Tenere. My goal was to ride cold wind at highway speeds in 30°F or lower conditions. I have to say they work fantastic! I tested them in 38°F without gloves at 85mph for about 40 minutes and they were fine. That being said, I would recommend a lightweight glove. Installation wise I had to remove the mirrors and standard handguards to fit the steering wheel and controls so there was enough room to freely operate all the controls. Speed on the highway more…

Works Well: Motorcycle and Powersports

I was looking for a way to keep my hands warm on my DRZ-400S. I have heated pens but they don't help my fingertips. I've bought and tried about five styles of motorcycle winter gloves and they were fine up to 45°F but not up to 28°F. My very good (non-motorcycle) Marmot gloves with heated grips and polyester lining worked fine at 28°F for up to 30 minutes at highway speeds, but my fingertips were still too cold after 15 minutes. Adding chemical heat packs didn't help and they aren't armored…

Pros
  • Stiff, extra-large cuff holds its shape as you slip your hand through plush-lined sleeve
Cons
  • High Price

Great product for the price with some caveats

Didn't work for me but wanted to leave a review anyway just in case. I have a Bergman 650 that gets cold because the fairing doesn't cover the handlebars. I bought this and a few others to get something working, while this product isn't without its flaws, it's a lot better than some of the similarly priced competing products here on Amazon. Pros: The fit and finish is great, the material is similar to nylon but double walled and stitched well. There's an extra plastic panel up front that helps…

Pros
  • Just slip into our Geartector mittens for protection or extra warmth when you're out and about
Cons
  • Exchange availability

Winter commuter bike

I don't know how they perform on a motorized snowmobile, ATV or motorcycle , but they're great for my bike when I commute to work in Michigan once or twice a week. I'm getting almost 10 miles one way and as the temp dropped to 30(F) my hands got colder and colder. None of my gloves could keep up with the wind on the open roads I ride. I was researching a certain bike brand and found that their products are very expensive, albeit custom made (and probably fit better than these). Another cyclist…

Pros
  • Spacious interior for full access to handlebar controls and a tough Rhino-coated faceplate provides added protection from stray branches or dirt on the road
Cons
  • Very expensive
