Komelon 7125IE Engineer Measuring Magnetic: Precision and Convenience Combined Review

This is the best inch and tenth tape I've found. It's a little big, but inches are continuous. Most inch/construction tape falls inches per foot, it's more like standard tape. See photo for reference and for better explanation, the Komelon tape is at the bottom and the engineer's Dewalt tape is at the top.

I'm an electrical engineer and I do drawings in AutoCAD which is always in decimals. This tape measure allows me to measure and cut materials directly in relation to the readings I use in AutoCAD. This is a great tape measure and the green color will help you avoid losing it. However, I always leave it in the attic or in the workshop, so I think I need about 6 more pieces.

I use a tape measure like hell and I love this one. It's small, sleek, light, long (35 feet) and the end of the strap is magnetic. It was unexpectedly comfortable. As a surveyor, my tapes get wet, dirty, dirty and cold. Now everything works great. Would like a lighter color. It's easy to lose your tape measure in the weeds. Luftkins Orange looks good on us, but their faucet doesn't work as well as this one.

Yes I'm an idiot, I accidentally bought a tape measure with engineering units on one side making it quite difficult to use this tape measure at an American carpentry shop, where everything is in feet/inches and cm/mm. Description needs updating, this ribbon cannot be printed on both sides. The yellow color is NOT high contrast and doesn't necessarily make the numbers difficult to read. I've had Komelon bands for the last 10 years but I switched to another brand and regretted it.
