I have an HP Pavilion s3100n desktop with max 2 memory banks and the maximum memory offered by the manufacturer is 2GB. After carefully researching several storage expansion options, I wanted to try this compatible product with a single 4GB slot. The product replaced the memory in one slot with a computer running Windows7 64-bit, and the memory was recognized by the hardware and the operating system. I recommend this product and the seller.

I bought this to upgrade an old E6600 dual core machine and it still works (well it's memory so either work or blue screen ). My main machine is a real monster (with i7, ssd, sata 3, dual gtx580) but somehow it had voltage issues and windows kept crashing on boot.
