These necklaces, like the others, are easy to put on and take off.

I bought these chains for my 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt and what difference will it make to my car now that snow is predicted? I don't worry about getting to and from work. These necklaces are easy to put on and take off and like the other reviews, practice putting them on so you don't have any trouble when you really need them. With Amazon Prime I was able to get them in 2 days.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Not Reliable

Snow chains for the 21st century!

I'm old enough to remember chains being heavy, bulky and impossible to assemble without getting muddy and snowy. This is an EVOLVED product that solves all the old problems. Also, they have minimal clearance requirements - they work great on my Ford Focus which claims it can't use chains. Oh, but this useless set of European installation instructions is all illustrations. Fortunately, it's easy to find videos on You Tube to learn how to install them. Make sure you study on a good day when there

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

I've never worn chains before, and this is a no-brainer!

I have a two year old and don't have much time to figure out how to put chains on the tires while she waits in the car so we can drive our miles of dirt road climbs home up the hill for groceries to buy in the fridge and start dinner. It's perfect! Very easy to put on and take off. The car doesn't even slide in the tricky derailleur corners, which are the trickiest. A little tip, if you slide the chain behind the bar and a bunch of ice/mud/dirt gets stuck where the other end goes, simply smack…

snow day? Don't leave home without them

These necklaces are easy to slip on and off. They are easily adjustable in weight and easy to keep in the car when included. I received them and a week later it started snowing. There was ice on the streets under snowy streets. I put the chains on when the car couldn't move and with ease the chains were put on and then I drove off while the other cars had nowhere to go. On the next hill I went down I was able to avoid other cars that couldn't stop (I stopped on the hill and the other cars…

I haven't gotten to the field yet. My Prius cannot drive with these chains.

This is my second winter of using them on a 2008 Toyota Prius (FWD). We'd already weathered a few storms with several feet of snow at Lake Tahoe, and we had a chain of command on I-80. I haven't hit any terrain my car can't handle with these tracks. I drove through 3 inches of snow with minimal traction control on the car. Instead of buying an AWD/4WD car, I can still drive a Toyota Prius and just put those chains on when the snow turns bad. It takes me a maximum of 10 minutes to put it on, and

They work great! on Accessories & Parts

I first used these Thule snow chains this Friday when a hurricane fell over 30 inches of snow on February 9th, 2013. I live on a hill and pretty much the only vehicles that could drive up the hill when it was snowing were SUVs. Even with front-wheel drive you won't get far. This time I had no problems and the roads were a mess. Your performance was great! Because of my job, I had to stay at work overnight during a thunderstorm. In the morning after clearing snow around my car in a snowy…
