Replacing the supplied gear with V-brake gear they work very well. Much better than most actual V-Brake pads I've tried.

I remember clearly. Went with a cheaper brand (big mistake you get what you pay for) now I'm back for good! Excellent product, price and above all the stopping power.

Have been using these brakes for about 2 months and they are a very good improvement on my old worn out set. Definitely recommend to anyone who can't stop their bike. I haven't had any issues with squeaks/noises since I installed them correctly (I think).

I am a beginner and changing brake pads for the first time. I have an Ozone bike. The struts of these brake pads are only slightly thicker than the original equipment and do not fit! I had to rough sand some of the thickness of the uprights with my belt sander and smooth them out by hand with sandpaper. It didn't take long, mostly just trouble. After that, it installed without any problems and worked flawlessly. I'm satisfied so far!

This set of brake pads is definitely a good choice. My bike's brakes squeaked and had poor stopping distance (they were at least a few years old). I live at the top of a steep hill so it is very important to me that my brakes will hold me and my bike when going downhill and approaching a stop sign or traffic light. It's also nice if they don't squeak annoyingly. I have Shimano cantilever brakes and the non-threaded stanchions worked great. The posts are quite long so they were easy to adjust…
